Less time preparing metadata. More time creating footage.

An AI-assisted workflow for stock contributors to analyse media, prepare descriptions and keywords, and organise files for submission and archive use.

CuratorPro product website: “Metadata worthy of your craft.”

The challenge

Stock footage contributors can spend hours naming and describing photos and clips, preparing metadata and organising files before submitting them to platforms. A growing archive also becomes difficult to search when filenames do not explain what each file contains.

My role

As an active stock contributor, I built CuratorPro around a workflow I use myself. I developed the product to reduce repetitive preparation and make media easier to find and reuse.

The solution

CuratorPro analyses photos and video clips with AI, generates descriptive metadata and prepares accompanying files for stock-platform submission. Users can also manually rename files with descriptive information to make their own archives more searchable through their file browser.

Key features

  • AI-assisted analysis of photos and video clips
  • Generation of descriptions and keywords
  • Metadata and export files, including XML and CSV, prepared for submission
  • Local media organisation and preparation workflows
  • Manual descriptive file renaming for easier archive search
  • Structured descriptions of what happens within visual material

Selected screens

The outcome

A workflow built to reduce manual metadata preparation and bring more order to a contributor’s archive. In my own contributor workflow it saves hours of preparation work.
